Chantal Morgan presents her latest series of works: Distance between Us. The inspiration for this body of work is drawn from her experiences had whilst travelling abroad, merged with her deep attachment to home. The works are influenced by personal feelings, inspiration, and colour. The imagery depicted is playful and sometimes whimsical, evoking joy and happiness. These representational shapes share her deep attachment to memories from home and the wonder felt whilst travelling. Many works are viewed through a window to evoke an emotional response and allow the viewer to ponder their own perspective on distance and connection between something loved. 
 
Chantal has a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Sydney University and has studied painting at the National Art School.
